We are partnering with a well-established and growing construction services company specialising in scaffolding solutions across Northern Ireland and beyond. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join the finance function. This role will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate processing, strong financial controls, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing the accounts payable function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time
- Maintaining and updating financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Performing regular bank and account reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
- Preparing documentation and supporting external audits
- Monitoring cash flow and assisting with budgeting activities
- Previous experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Solid understanding of accounts payable and general ledger processes
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards and compliance requirements
