With an impressive client base and a clear growth trajectory, theyre now seeking a commercially focused Financial Controller to initially join them on a part-time basis to lead the finance function and support the business through its next exciting phase of development. This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Youll work closely with the senior leadership team, influencing strategic decisions, shaping financial direction, and helping to drive performance across the wider business. Responsibilities: Take full ownership of the finance function, reporting into the leadership team Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts with clear, actionable insights Lead on budgeting and forecasting, helping to shape financial plans and priorities Monitor performance through variance analysis and help course-correct as needed Implement and enhance internal financial controls Prepare board reports and communicate financial updates across the business Build and maintain KPIs and dashboards to support strategic decision-making Identify and drive improvements across systems, processes, and reporting Present financial results in a clear and commercial manner to both finance and non-finance stakeholders Experience: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience A strong background in a similar, hands-on finance roleideally within a growing SME Strong systems knowledge and an interest in process improvement Commercially astute, with the ability to turn numbers into meaningful business insight Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills A proven people leader who can support, develop, and motivate a small team This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to step into a broad, commercially focused finance leadership role in a values-led business.
