Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be partnering exclusively with our client to appoint an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their busy accounts team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, teamwork, and process efficiency. The Role Reporting to the Company Accountant, youll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheets. This position offers great variety, working within a collaborative finance function that values continuous improvement and professional development. Key Responsibilities Process purchase ledger invoices with a high level of accuracy. Allocate and record payments in and out of the bank. Reconcile supplier statements and carry out creditor analysis. Manage contract hire extensions and terminations. Generate the monthly payment run and follow up on unallocated payments. Support general administration and reporting tasks within the accounts team. Provide cover and assistance to colleagues across the wider finance department. Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies. Skills & Experience 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) or equivalent. Minimum 1 years current experience in an accounts administration / purchase ledger role. Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy. Proven ability to manage high volumes of work and meet deadlines. A collaborative team player with strong communication skills. Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn.
