We are currently working with a well-established and growing organisation within the manufacturing and sustainable construction sector who are seeking to appoint a Trainee Payroll Administrator on a temporary 6-month contract, based in Enniskillen. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly reputable, multi-site business with a strong presence across the UK and Ireland.
The successful candidate will play a key role within the payroll function, supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll while working closely with HR, Finance and operational teams. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role offers hands-on exposure across payroll processing, time and attendance systems, reporting and ongoing system improvements within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Processing weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for approximately 350 employees
- Ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance with statutory legislation and company policies
- Reviewing payroll data including pay elements, deductions and statutory payments
- Assisting with payroll reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing payroll files and supporting bank payment submissions
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and issuing payslips
- Managing and updating the Time & Attendance system (Softworks)
- Monitoring employee holidays, absences and leave records
- Producing payroll reports for Finance and management teams
Who We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a payroll role within a medium to large organisation
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting)
- Experience using payroll systems (Opera experience advantageous)
