Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be exclusively supporting the appointment of a Commercial Finance Manager to join a high-performing and expanding finance function. This is a pivotal commercial role, working closely with senior operational and commercial stakeholders to drive profitability, influence strategic decisions, and provide high-quality financial insight across the business.

The Role

  • Leading commercial finance support across pricing, customer agreements, tenders, and contract reviews.
  • Supporting new business opportunities, product launches, and product costing initiatives.
  • Reviewing costs, margins, and profitability to support commercial decision-making and customer negotiations.
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across multiple business areas.
  • Analysing financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Producing high-quality management information and driving continuous improvements in reporting and financial processes.

The Person

  • Experience in commercial finance, FP&A, finance business partnering, or a similar commercially focused finance role.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, margin analysis, and profitability reporting.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Experience working with ERP and financial reporting systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge and influence decision-making.
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with a strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
