Insurance Defence Solicitor Belfast I am currently partnering with one of Northern Irelands most respected commercial law firms, which is seeking to expand its Defence Litigation team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified solicitor with strong experience in defendant personal injury or clinical negligence work to join a market-leading team handling high-quality, complex cases on behalf of major insurers, healthcare organisations, and self-insured clients. What you\’ll be doing: Managing a varied caseload of defendant litigation matters, including EL/PL and clinical negligence. Advising a high-profile client base, including leading insurers and healthcare providers. Working alongside top-ranked partners and associates in a collaborative, high-performing environment. Participating in client meetings, case strategy, and business development initiatives. Criteria: Qualified Solicitor (NI or England & Wales) with around 25 years PQE (flexible depending on experience). Solid background in defendant litigation (personal injury or clinical negligence preferred). Strong drafting, negotiation, and case management skills.
