Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, strengthening financial controls, and supporting operational teams with meaningful insight and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, providing high-quality financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, acting as a key point of contact for external auditors
- Take ownership of accruals, prepayments, and internal recharge processes across the business
- Maintain oversight of the fixed asset register and capital expenditure reporting
- Ensure completion of bank reconciliations and support financing arrangements, including hire purchase agreements
- Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory returns, including UK and ROI VAT
- Drive improvements in financial systems, reporting, and control processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a relevant accounting role
- Qualified accountant or part-qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Proven ability to operate at a senior level within a finance function
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Advanced IT skills, particularly Excel and accounting systems
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive, commercially minded approach
- Strong technical knowledge of financial controls, reporting, and compliance
