An exciting opportunity has become available to join a highly successful, family-owned organisation renowned for its exceptional culture. With continued growth and a clear commitment to investing in its people, the business is now seeking a Business Development Executive to support the next stage of its development.

Reporting to the Sales & Business Development Manager, the Business Development Executive will play a key role in generating new business while strengthening and expanding an established customer base across Northern Ireland and Great Britain.

The Role

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities throughout NI and GB
  • Proactively manage and grow existing customer relationships
  • Plan and carry out customer visits in line with sales objectives
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events
  • Gather and analyse market data to support sales strategy and reporting
  • Maintain accurate sales records and customer information
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer service and drive growth

About You

  • Degree or HNC in Business Studies or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven communication and relationship-building skills
  • Previous experience in a sales or business development role
  • Experience within an engineering or technical environment is desirable
  • Confident using IT systems and digital tools to support sales activity
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Northern Ireland and the UK
  • Full UK driving licence
