An established and well-respected litigation practice in Belfast is seeking to recruit a Solicitor to join its growing claimant-focused team. The role will involve acting on behalf of plaintiffs across a range of employers liability, public liability and clinical negligence claims. You will have the opportunity to work on varied and meaningful cases, with exposure to complex liability and quantum issues, while developing strong client relationships from instruction through to resolution.
The Role Will Involve:
- Managing a caseload of employers liability, public liability and clinical negligence matters
- Advising clients on liability, strategy, and prospects of success
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence and legal submissions
- Engaging in negotiations, settlement discussions and, where appropriate, litigation
- Working closely with senior colleagues on more complex or high-value claims
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience in personal injury litigation, ideally on the plaintiff side
- Brings strong drafting, organisational and client-care skills
- Is commercially aware, proactive and keen to develop their practice
- Clinical negligence experience is advantageous but not essential
