The OpportunityJoining a collaborative and highly regarded team, the successful candidate will gain exposure to a varied workload across accounts preparation, client advisory, and tax support services. Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements and accounts for a broad portfolio of owner-managed businesses and local clients.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing professional and timely support on day-to-day financial queries.
- Assisting with advisory assignments and supporting clients with business-related projects when required.
- Working alongside the internal tax department on compliance matters, including preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients while delivering a high standard of service.
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants should ideally have:
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
- ACA or ACCA qualification preferred, although qualified by experience candidates will also be considered.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience preparing accounts for a range of clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
