An ambitious and acquisitive group of companies is seeking a Newly Qualified Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career in a dynamic environment with significant scope for progression and personal development as the business continues to expand. You will work closely with the Financial Controller and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple levels of management.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of Management Accounts
- Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
- Posting and reviewing accruals and prepayments
- Reconciliation of inter-company balances across the group
- Supporting the submission of statutory filings
- Preparation of year-end audit supporting documentation and liaison with external auditors
- Contributing to the development of financial processes and procedures
- Supporting Finance Assistants across Ireland
- Undertaking ad hoc operational duties related to finance
About You
- Newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple levels of management
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proactive, ambitious, and keen to learn within a fast-paced, growing organisation
- High level of competency in Excel and accounting systems
