An established law firm in Belfast is seeking an experienced Insurance Solicitor to join its busy insurance and disputes team. The team specialises in defending insurance and liability claims and advising insurers on coverage and related matters across a wide range of sectors.
About the Role
- Advise on and manage a varied caseload of insurance defence and liability matters for insurer clients, including personal injury, EL/PL, motor and other liability claims.
- Provide coverage analysis and policy interpretation advice to insurers and reinsurers.
- Draft and review pleadings, correspondence and strategy documents.
- Represent clients at interlocutory stages, mediation and tribunal or court hearings as required.
- Work collaboratively with senior lawyers and support staff to ensure high-quality client service.
Criteria
- Qualified solicitor with 3-5 years post-qualification experience in insurance or related litigation work.
- Strong technical knowledge of insurance law, liability claims and civil procedure.
- Excellent drafting, advocacy and client communication skills.
