We are partnering with a well-established and highly regarded manufacturing business based in Belfast, operating within a fast-paced and regulated environment. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join their in-house finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager/Financial Controller, this is a hands-on role offering broad exposure across core finance operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting reporting, and ensuring strong cashflow management within the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain rolling cashflow forecasts, providing clear insight into liquidity
- Process supplier payments in line with agreed terms and approval procedures
- Raise and issue sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contracts
- Manage credit control, including debtor monitoring and overdue account follow-up
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly
- Monitor shared finance mailboxes and manage incoming queries efficiently
- Support preparation of management reports and KPI packs
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Who We're Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a finance role within a manufacturing or production environment
- Proven experience in cashflow forecasting, bank reconciliations, and credit control
- Strong communication skills, with confidence liaising with stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
Desirable:
- Experience using Xero
- Part-qualified or studying towards AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems in manufacturing
