Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy and well-structured finance team on a fixed-term contract basis with an immediate start available. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on finance role, supporting both day-to-day transactional activity and month-end processes within a fast-paced environment. The Role
Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team, you will support the smooth running of finance operations while assisting with key reporting processes. This is a varied position offering a mix of processing, reconciliation and reporting support, ideal for someone who enjoys being involved across all areas of finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily finance activities across the department
- Assist with month-end processes, including journal postings
- Review and prepare daily and weekly sales information
- Process payments and maintain banking records
- Set up payment templates and assist with electronic payments
- Raise manual invoices and maintain accurate records
- Perform bank and control account reconciliations
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve queries and ensure accuracy
- Provide general accounts and administrative support as required
About You
You will be organised, proactive and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment. You enjoy problem-solving, take pride in accuracy and are confident communicating with colleagues across the business.
