Key Areas of Responsibility
- Transactional Finance
- Processing daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records
- Managing incoming and outgoing payments
- Processing invoices and supporting billing activities
- Allocating receipts and reconciling transactions
- Maintaining supplier and customer account records
- Reconciliations & Financial Control
- Performing regular bank reconciliations
- Monitoring account balances and investigating discrepancies
- Assisting with month-end finance processes
- Ensuring all financial information is accurate and up to date
- Supporting internal control procedures and compliance requirements
- Stakeholder Support
- Responding to finance-related queries from colleagues and customers
- Working closely with operational teams to resolve account issues
- Supporting the wider finance team with administrative and reporting duties
- Maintaining organised and audit-ready financial documentation

- Essential Experience
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator or similar role
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Experience processing financial transactions and reconciliations
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Desirable Experience
- Experience within a professional services environment
- Exposure to billing, reconciliations or credit control
- Experience working with accounting software packages
