This is a newly created opportunity for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join a growing finance team within a manufacturing environment. The role offers excellent exposure, hands-on experience, and a clear progression path.

The Role

  • Monthly Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of management accounts, variance analysis, and reporting across UK and international manufacturing operations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial insight to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Product Costing & Inventory: Maintain and develop product costing models and support inventory valuation, controls, and reporting.
  • Financial Compliance: Assist with statutory reporting, audits, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Systems & Projects: Support finance and operational projects, including the implementation of new MRP, CRM, and MI reporting systems.

The Person

  • Newly qualified (or recently qualified) ACA / ACCA / CIMA accountant.
  • Experience or strong interest in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain financial data.
  • Good Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems.
  • Proactive, detail-driven, and keen to develop within a hands-on finance role.
