We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join a growing and well-established organisation in the Cookstown area. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing finance professional to gain broad exposure within a busy finance function and build on their existing experience. Working as part of a supportive finance team, you will assist in the preparation of financial information and help support day-to-day accounting activities across the business.

Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and performance reports
- Supporting year-end processes and audit requirements
- Processing accruals, prepayments, and internal recharges
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and supporting capital expenditure tracking
- Completing bank reconciliations and assisting with finance agreements
- Supporting the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other compliance reporting
- Assisting with regular reporting (e.g. surveys, trade returns) and contributing to process improvements
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role (3+ years preferred)
- Part-qualified or actively studying towards a professional qualification (e.g. CIMA / ACCA / ACA), or willingness to study
- Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and financial systems
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
