Job Description:

Our client is looking for a talented Paraplanner to join their team based in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Financial Planner in formulating advice for clients, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
  • Review client objectives, ensuring they are clear, concise, and achievable based on the client’s financial circumstances.
  • Research and analyze investment funds and financial products, considering client objectives.
  • Review asset allocation for investment and pension holdings.
  • Complete financial cashflow forecasts to demonstrate the client\’s current and future financial position.
  • Prepare Financial Plans outlining the current position, goals, and strategies to achieve them.
  • Coordinate with Product Providers / Third Parties for technical queries.
  • Accurately complete new business sheets for handover to the PA.
  • Support team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and deadlines are met.
  • Fully Diploma qualified.
  • Possess a good understanding of the Financial Planning process.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Provide excellent customer service to advisers and clients.
  • Demonstrate excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Work effectively under deadlines.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Hold AFPC qualification or be working towards it.
  • Understand cashflow modelling.
  • Have broad knowledge of the Financial Services Industry and technical expertise.
  • Possess in-depth experience with cashflow modelling.
  • Manage and complete projects effectively.
