Our client is looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their expanding team based in Broadstairs, Kent.
Main Job Purpose: To support advisers in providing compliant advice to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of suitability reports from approved templates
- Draft templates for approval
- Obtain relevant quotations from providers
- Process new business
- Obtain policy information
- Demonstrate principles of Treating Customers Fairly in all customer dealings
- Communicate easily understandable recommendations to customers in all cases, and in writing
- Aware of and complying with the rules of the FCA and the set procedures of the business to achieve compliance
- Create compliant client files where all communications are documented correctly
- Support the provision of good quality advice and service that does not require customers to make complaints
- Complete CPD activity to meet identified needs and complete training activity records accordingly
- Ensure any rule breaches are brought to the attention of the Senior Management
- Develop and maintain the highest possible compliance standards in all aspects of the business
- Such tasks that the Director(s) may consider appropriate to your role, training and experience
Qualifications:
- Full FPC or Certificate of Financial Planning (first paper required for Trainee status)
