We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join a growing and highly regarded financial planning business. This is an excellent opportunity for a Diploma-qualified professional, particularly a Paraplanner or Senior Paraplanner looking to transition into a more technical and supervisory role within Compliance.
This position offers the chance to focus on the financial planning client experience, working closely with the advice and paraplanning teams to ensure the highest standards of suitability and regulatory adherence. The successful candidate will play a key role in reviewing and monitoring the quality of work produced, providing constructive feedback, and supporting continuous improvement across the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out compliance monitoring activities, including file reviews and quality checks
- Focus on the financial planning process and client outcomes, rather than general compliance tasks
- Review and assess paraplanning work to ensure accuracy, suitability, and regulatory standards
- Provide guidance and support to paraplanners and advisers to improve overall quality
- Assist with identifying trends, risks, and areas for improvement
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal compliance frameworks
- Minimum Diploma qualified (Level 4) in Financial Planning
- Strong experience within financial planning, ideally in a paraplanning or senior paraplanning role
- Good technical knowledge and understanding of suitability and regulatory requirements
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach
