Our client is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their expanding team based in London. The Marketing Executive plays a vital role in a dynamic, fast-paced marketing team and is responsible for planning, developing and delivering marketing content that is unique and engaging. This may include but is not limited to direct mail/email, brochureware, website, articles, case studies, sales support materials, videos, social media and other collateral, all in line with our client's brand, tone and voice across all channels. This role will work closely with proposition owners and senior managers, supporting sales strategy and influencing how they continue to develop the voice and thought leadership of their organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of the practice's marketing strategy and content marketing plan to strengthen the relationship with existing clients and attract prospective new clients.
- Manage the practice's brand presence across approved channels including the website, socials, search and print.
- Create and maintain adverts and advertising material, including the distribution to clients and new prospects.
- Prepare, format, and edit a range of documents in Canva.
- Create and interpret a variety of reports within Salesforce, with a key focus on key marketing campaigns.
- Organise and plan the production of all major marketing materials by working closely with printers and other involved parties.
- Familiarise yourself with all products and services offered by the company.
- Contribute towards team success; recommend improvements to systems and processes where necessary.
- Support research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Report on data and present back to the team.
- Work closely with the rest of the marketing department to develop bespoke campaigns to relevant prospects.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to achieve brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation.
- Manage and monitor social media channels, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyse social media performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use social media to build relationships with potential clients.
Knowledge and experience:
- Desirable to have had prior experience working in a creative design and/or marketing role.
- Desirable experience of dealing with internal customers/stakeholders.
- Desirable to have worked previously within financial services.
- Desirable experience of Internet design and communications.
- Working within a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Co-ordinating with in-house design resource and/or external Creative Agencies, printers, mailing houses.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships across businesses.
