About the Role

An established Chartered Financial Planning and Wealth Management firm is looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing team.

This is a non-client-facing role, working closely with Client Managers and Financial Planners to provide the research, analysis and documentation that supports high-quality financial advice.

The role would suit an experienced Paraplanner who enjoys technical work, has excellent attention to detail and is confident working across pensions, investments and protection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and prepare recommendations across pensions, investments and protection.
  • Prepare clear, accurate and compliant suitability reports.
  • Work closely with Client Managers to understand client objectives and support appropriate recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records of research and recommendations.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory changes, products and market developments.
  • Provide technical support to Client Managers and Financial Planners.
  • Highlight any issues or opportunities identified through research.
  • Contribute to improving paraplanning processes and efficiencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of client information.

About You

  • CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
  • Proven experience within a Paraplanning role.
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and protection.
  • Excellent research, analytical and report-writing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of FCA regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • Professional, proactive and collaborative approach.
