Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join a busy financial planning team, providing technical research and report-writing support to Financial Advisers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret client files and adviser instructions to prepare accurate Financial Planning Reports.
  • Carry out research and analysis across providers, products and investment funds.
  • Prepare suitability reports within agreed timescales.
  • Liaise with Advisers, Compliance and internal teams to progress cases.
  • Maintain accurate case records and paraplanning logs.
  • Manage a varied workload and prioritise deadlines effectively.
  • Ensure all work is accurate, compliant and to a high professional standard.

About You

  • 1–2 years' experience as a Paraplanner.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within a Financial Planning environment.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, or within 1–2 exams of completion.
  • Good understanding of UK financial services regulation.
  • Strong technical research and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
