The Role

We are looking for a proactive and highly organised

Senior Client Administrator to join a growing financial planning team.

You will play a key role in supporting Advisers and clients throughout the financial planning process, taking ownership of new business administration and ensuring applications are processed accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Processing
  • Process new investment, pension and protection applications.
  • Monitor new business from submission through to completion.
  • Liaise with providers and third parties to obtain updates and resolve outstanding requirements.
  • Chase outstanding documentation, transfer requests and information to ensure cases progress efficiently.
  • Keep Advisers and clients updated throughout the application process.
  • Maintain accurate client records and CRM systems.
  • Take ownership of the business pipeline and ensure cases are progressed efficiently.
  • Client Administration
  • Maintain accurate client information within CRM systems.
  • Prepare client presentation packs and documentation for meetings and signatures.
  • Maintain accurate electronic client records.
  • Support Advisers with post-meeting administration and implementation of recommendations.
  • Ensure documentation is processed accurately and in line with FCA requirements.
  • Adviser & Client Support
  • Arrange and support regular case review meetings with Advisers.
  • Act as a key point of contact for Advisers, clients and providers.
  • Provide professional and timely updates to clients.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and external providers.
  • General Administration
  • Support the smooth running of the office.
  • Assist with general office administration and stock management.
  • Contribute to improvements in administrative processes.
  • Provide wider administrative support as required.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have

  • Previous administration experience within financial services, wealth management or professional services.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional and confident telephone manner.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
  • The ability to work proactively and independently while contributing positively to a team.
  • A high level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.

Desirable

  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM system.
  • Knowledge of financial services administration and new business processing.
  • Understanding of investments, pensions and protection products.
