Working Hours: 28 hours per week, 9 am – 5 pm
Work Arrangement: On-site

Salary: £40,000 per annum, plus performance-related bonus based on business growth and team retention.

Overview
The Practice Manager will oversee the daily operations of a wealth management practice, ensuring exceptional client service, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and cohesive team performance.
This pivotal role supports the advisers by managing the non-advisory business functions, allowing them to focus on client engagement and financial planning. As the advisers spend much of their time out of the office, the Practice Manager will act as the operational lead, ensuring continuity, structure, and accountability within the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Oversee and enhance office systems, workflows, and processes to ensure efficient operations.

- Licensing & CPD: Ensure the practice remains fully compliant with licensing, CPD, and legislative requirements.
- Process Management: Manage end-to-end business processes, ensuring consistency in accuracy and timeliness.

- Monitor client satisfaction and implement service enhancements where necessary.
- Support advisers and the team in client retention, relationship-building, and business development initiatives, including events and client engagement activities.
Financial & Strategic Support
- Assist with budgeting, financial tracking, and expense management.
- Provide operational insight to support business planning and strategic initiatives.
- Analyse KPIs to identify growth opportunities and operational risks.
- Lead or oversee practice-wide projects to ensure consistency and alignment across functions.
- Identify and address potential operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Support marketing and communication initiatives, including client events and outreach activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a financial planning, paraplanning, or administrative role within a regulated financial services environment.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a leadership, operations, or office management position.
- Strong understanding of financial services regulation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.
- Strong client service ethic with a professional and proactive approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (experience with Salesforce advantageous).
- Willingness to assist with administrative or paraplanning duties during quieter periods.
