Our client is looking for a Senior Paraplanner to assist Advisers with their client portfolios and accounts providing advice in areas such as pension transfers, bond surrenders, investment taxation and account structure suitability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct fact finding calls with clients to evaluate client objectives, portfolio holdings, time-horizon, cash flow needs, and financial situation to determine a suitable asset allocation recommendation.
- Review clients' existing pension and investment bond arrangements to determine whether a transfer/surrender is suitable.
- Work with other departments to provide best client outcomes through developing new resources and providing training.
- Work on ad hoc projects to improve efficiency.
- Adhere to the T&C scheme to ensure regulatory compliance related to the provision of regulated advice.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Level 4 Qualification – CII Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning or CISI Investment Advice Diploma preferable.
- 3+ years financial services experience required.
- Very strong understanding of Financial Planning principles and client suitability.
- This is a hybrid role with 3/4 days in the office.
