An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing financial planning firm, working closely alongside a Chartered Financial Planner within a supportive and collaborative environment. This role would suit someone who enjoys working within a small team and is looking to grow with an expanding business. This would suit candidates looking to progress into a Financial Adviser role, later on in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing suitability reports and financial review
- Conducting research and due diligence on products and providers
- Providing technical support to the wider team
- Attending client meetings where required
- Keeping up to date with industry and regulatory change
- Supporting the financial planning process from research through to recommendation
Skills & Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in a Paraplanning or similar role
- Experience producing suitability reports and recommendation letters
- Strong knowledge of pensions and investments
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Level 4 Diploma preferred, although qualified by experience candidates will also be considered
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
