JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an exceptional, creative and highly efficient Digital Designer to join our dynamic and capable team on a part-time basis. This pivotal in-house role demands a deep understanding of how compelling online graphic design and website aesthetics directly influence website performance, user experience, and ultimately, conversion rate optimisation (CRO). You'll need to be an excellent communicator, adept at project management, and highly adaptive to evolving digital trends and client needs.
You will be at the forefront of shaping the visual impact of websites, digital and print materials for both Artemis Marketing and our diverse portfolio of clients. This varied role offers the exciting opportunity to manage graphic design projects primarily focused on web, digital media, and supporting website builds, leveraging cutting-edge tools, including AI-driven design processes, to deliver impactful results quickly and precisely.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Joining our Digital Design team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing branding, digital and print marketing collateral and developing highly converting website designs. Your responsibilities will include:
Brand Design & Digital Collateral
· Digital Assets: Craft visually striking digital and print ready branding materials for Artemis Marketing and clients such as social media graphics, brochures, case studies, presentations, whitepapers, exhibition materials, logos, and digital advertisements ensuring they are optimised for various platforms and campaign goals.
· Video Creation: Creation of video content for Artemis Marketing and clients for social media, YouTube and website marketing. Includes visual elements for video content such as graphics.
· In-house Marketing Collateral: Generation of in-house marketing collateral and organisation-wide marketing/internal communications by creating, editing, and updating documents, presentations, and internal communications materials with a consistent and professional visual identity.
Website Design & User Experience
- Designing High-Converting Website Designs: Creation of visually stunning and conversion-focused website designs and mock-ups in Figma or Sketch. This includes developing detailed UX wireframes and crafting elegant, responsive designs for a seamless experience across all devices.
- Collaborating with Web Developers: Work hand-in-hand with our in-house web developers, providing all necessary design assets and ensuring the seamless and accurate implementation of your website designs, from initial concept to live site.
AI-Driven Graphic Design & Innovation
- Leveraging AI for Design Enhancement: Actively research, experiment with, and integrate AI-powered graphic design tools and techniques to streamline workflows, generate innovative design concepts, and enhance the efficiency and creativity of our design process.
- Data-Informed Design Decisions: Collaborate with the SEO and marketing teams to interpret performance data and leverage AI insights to refine designs for optimal user engagement and conversion, particularly for digital assets.

Education & Experience
- University degree in Digital Design, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrable professional experience.
- Direct experience with digital design, brand development, UI/UX principles, and an understanding of Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO).
Technical Expertise
- Adobe Creative Suite: Exceptional proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator for creating sophisticated visual designs and print-ready documents.
- Proficiency in UI/UX Design Tools: Strong familiarity with Figma or Sketch, with the ability to create high-level website mock-ups and prototypes.
- Understanding of Web & Print Production: Comprehensive knowledge of how to design and export assets effectively for both web and print applications, including artworking processes.
- AI Design Tool Acumen: A keen interest in and willingness to learn and apply AI-driven graphic design software and methodologies.

- An exceptional eye for aesthetics, detail, and typography, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative flair.
