We are seeking an exceptional, highly efficient, and strategically-minded Digital PR & Marketing Strategist to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This pivotal role requires a strong background in Linking Building and Outreach, combined with technical expertise in the broader digital marketing landscape. Your core focus will be on securing high-quality, natural backlinks and valuable brand mentions through genuine relationship building.

You’ll be instrumental in identifying strategic opportunities across various industries, rigorously vetting potential partners for quality, and executing sophisticated outreach campaigns. Your ability to think strategically, generate innovative concepts that drive natural link acquisition, and manage detailed processes with precision will be key to elevating our clients’ online authority and visibility. You’ll need to be an excellent communicator, adept at project management, and highly adaptive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify highly relevant and authoritative websites, online publications, and media outlets across diverse industries.
  • Thoroughly vet potential outreach targets, ensuring they meet our stringent quality standards for relevance, audience, and editorial integrity.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for both high-quality backlinks and valuable brand mentions for our clients.
  • Monitor internet trends, industry news, and various article types to inform strategic outreach and concept development.
  • Craft compelling, personalised pitches to forge genuine, long-term relationships with webmasters, editors, journalists, and key industry figures.
  • Skillfully negotiate link placements and editorial features, ensuring alignment with client objectives and our quality benchmarks.
  • Brainstorm and develop innovative, newsworthy content concepts.
  • Develop comprehensive article briefs, ensuring all content effectively meets brief requirements and adheres to the publication’s editorial style.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure client sites have link-worthy content.
  • Efficiently manage multiple outreach campaigns concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and strategic alignment.
  • Maintain exceptionally organised records of all outreach activities, contacts, and outcomes within our systems.
  • Continuously identify, implement, and update detailed processes and systems to maximise efficiency and scalability of outreach efforts.
  • Prepare clear, concise reports on campaign performance, link acquisition, and strategic insights for clients and internal teams.
PERSON SPECIFICATION

We are looking for a results-driven professional with a strong PR foundation and a passion for strategic digital growth.

Education & Experience
  • Qualifications in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrable professional experience.
  • Proven experience (e.g., 2+ years) in a Digital PR, Outreach, or high-quality Link Building role, with a strong portfolio of successful placements and campaigns.
  • Demonstrable experience in building and nurturing relationships with online publications and website owners.
  • Strong understanding of the broader digital marketing landscape and a solid background in SEO, with clear knowledge of how link building and brand mentions contribute to overall search performance.
Technical Expertise
  • Digital Marketing Acumen: Proven understanding of various digital marketing channels and how PR and outreach integrate with them.
  • SEO Tools & Concepts: Working knowledge of SEO tools for prospecting, competitor analysis (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMRush), keyword research basics, and an understanding of core SEO concepts relevant to link building.
