We are partnering with a long-established and highly respected manufacturing business to recruit a Transport/Logistics Planning Coordinator to join their busy operations function. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build practical experience in transport planning, logistics coordination and operational support.

The role offers broad exposure across the end-to-end delivery process, working closely with internal teams, external hauliers and customers to ensure efficient and timely distribution of goods. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily transport operations, ensuring schedules are accurate, documentation is maintained and deliveries are executed smoothly within agreed service levels.

Key responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily transport and delivery schedules with internal departments
  • Arrange bookings with approved transport and haulage providers
  • Maintain accurate records of loads, schedules and transport documentation
  • Prepare dispatch paperwork and ensure POD (proof of delivery) tracking is completed
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the logistics team
  • Assist in improving efficiency across transport and warehouse processes
  • Support compliance with internal procedures and quality standards
About you:
