A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Partner to join its expanding Tax practice in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax lawyer to play a key role in a highly regarded team, advising multinational corporations, investment funds, and financial institutions on a broad range of domestic and international tax matters.

The Role:

  • Advising on the tax aspects of corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity, restructurings, and cross-border investments.
  • Providing strategic tax planning advice for investment funds, financial institutions, and multinational businesses.
  • Handling tax structuring and compliance matters related to corporate finance, real estate, and private client issues.
  • Advising on partnership and fund taxation, including structuring private equity and venture capital funds.
  • Supporting clients in tax investigations, disputes, and negotiations with HMRC.
  • Contributing to business development, client relationship management, and practice growth.

About You:

  • 7+ years’ PQE gained at a leading UK or international firm.
  • Strong expertise in UK and international corporate tax matters, with experience advising on cross-border transactions.
  • A solid understanding of partnership taxation, fund structuring, and investment tax issues.
  • Proven ability to manage complex tax matters and provide strategic advice.
  • Excellent client management and business development skills.
