A leading corporate law team in Belfast is seeking a Senior Associate with strong corporate and transactional experience to join its dynamic and busy department. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile mergers & acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and other corporate matters for a diverse range of clients including growth businesses, investors, and multinational companies. The team works collaboratively across practice areas to deliver commercially focused, high-quality legal advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex corporate transactions, including M&A, restructurings, equity investments and commercial governance matters
- Provide commercially grounded advice to clients at all stages of the corporate lifecycle
- Draft and negotiate transaction documentation and related corporate governance documentation
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and support staff
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Person Specification
- Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years post-qualification experience in corporate law, ideally within a commercial law firm context
- Strong technical knowledge of UK company law and corporate transactional work
- Demonstrated ability to manage significant matters independently and as part of a team
