Financial Controller Fermanagh Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be partnering with a successful and growing organisation to recruit a Financial Controller to join their established Finance Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the finance function within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will provide strategic financial insight, drive continuous improvement, and support key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities Lead the finance function, overseeing month-end, year-end processes, financial reporting, P&L, cash flow and variance analysis.
Provide commercial financial insight to support strategic decision-making, budgeting and business planning.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax and regulatory requirements, including VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax and Intrastat reporting.
Oversee product costing, pricing reviews and financial analysis to improve business performance.
Manage payroll, insurance requirements, government reporting and relationships with key external stakeholders.
Identify and implement process improvements, supporting the ongoing development of systems and operational efficiency.
Essential Criteria Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
Minimum 3 years experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical accounting skills with excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness.
Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and deliver accurate financial information.
Proven ability to identify business improvement opportunities and implement change.
Strong communication skills with a proactive, professional approach and high levels of integrity.
