A well established and highly regarded organisation within NI is seeking a Newly Qualified Accountant to join its finance team in Newtownabbey.

The Role
Working as part of a professional finance team, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of accurate financial reporting and providing financial insight across the wider business.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Preparation and analysis of financial information for senior management.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances.
- Supporting statutory reporting and audit requirements.
- Providing financial analysis and commentary to support business decision-making.
- Assisting with the development and improvement of financial processes and controls.
- Working closely with colleagues across the wider organisation to provide financial support and insight.
- Supporting ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required.
About You
- A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Strong academic and professional accounting credentials.
- Experience gained within practice, industry or a combination of both.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- The ability to analyse financial information and communicate findings clearly.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- A proactive and commercially minded approach.
- The confidence to build effective working relationships with colleagues across the business.
