Were currently working with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit an experienced Accountant to join their finance team on a 3 month contract. Β£50,000 Β£60,000 salary (pro-rata & depending on experience) Hybrid working (3 days in the office and 2 from home) Free on-site parking The Role Reporting into senior management, youll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate running of the day-to-day finance function, while also providing valuable financial insight to support business decision-making. Key responsibilities will include: Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports Managing month-end and year-end processes Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management Preparing and analysing financial data to identify trends and opportunities Managing balance sheet reconciliations Supporting statutory accounts and year-end audit processes Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and legislation Working closely with internal stakeholders to provide financial advice and insight Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls About You Youll ideally have: A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or be qualified by experience Strong experience within a broad accounting role Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills Good knowledge of financial reporting and month-end processes Strong Excel and accounting systems experience The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines A proactive, commercially aware approach Apply below or get in touch with Marc Norton at Artemis Human Capital for full details.
