Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be partnering with an exponentially growing, highly-ambitious and international engineering business operating across the United Kingdom, Ireland and Europe. As a result of trebling their turnover, they are seeking a HR Professional to have full autonomy of all HR Operations and establish the department from scratch whilst receiving training and guidance from the wider team and Director.

What will you receive as HR Manager?

  • 3-4 day working week with prospect to become full-time over time
  • Hybrid working - (3 days in the office and 2 days at home)

What will you do as HR Manager?

  • Reporting into the Managing Director, you will have full ownership of all HR Operations including recruitment, compliance, payroll and employee relations.
  • Duties include:
  • Revise and update all company HR policies, employee handbook and processes to ensure compliance with NI and UK Employment Legislation
  • Lead and manage on all employee relations including disciplinaries and grievances
  • Utilise the HR System to upload and modify employee records, download documentation and run reports
  • Manage on the full end to end recruitment process including posting job adverts, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, extending job offers and completing reference checks.
  • Leading on company compliance including managing on company audits, reporting and ensuring all company policies align with compliance standards

What will you require as HR Manager?

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a HR Generalist position
  • Experience in leading on company compliance processes, procedures and audits
  • Preferable to have CIPD Qualification or HR Degree
  • Proficient in Irish and UK Employment Legislation
