We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established, manufacturing business located in the Portadown area. This is a newly created position with a scaling business and an exciting time to join the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Conduct cost and margin analysis – particularly around raw materials, labour, overheads, and production variances
- Support with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Analyse actual performance against budget, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
- Work closely with production and operations teams to monitor KPIs and efficiency metrics
- Maintain and improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls
- Support year-end close and liaison with external auditors
- Provide reporting and financial insight to support senior leadership decision-making
Person Specification
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- 2/3 years + experience in a management accounting role
- Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, including standard costing and margin analysis
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence with financial systems
- Commercial awareness with the ability to interpret financial data for operational teams
- Experience within the food manufacturing sector would be a benefit
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems used in manufacturing (e.g. Sage, SAP, Dynamics)
