Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working exclusively to appoint a Financial Controller, reporting directly to the CFO. This is a senior finance leadership role within a growing group, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function during a period of change and development.
The Role
- Lead the day-to-day finance function.
- Mentor and develop an established finance team.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to support the business through its next phase.
Key responsibilities
- Ownership of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Maintaining strong financial controls and balance sheet integrity.
- Supporting statutory accounts preparation and audit.
- Acting as a key finance stakeholder during systems and process change.
- Mentoring and developing the finance team.
- Partnering closely with the CFO and senior leadership.
The Person
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
- Proven experience at Financial Controller or senior finance level.
- Strong background in management reporting, budgeting and financial control.
- Experience leading and developing finance teams.
- Comfortable operating in a PE-backed or change-driven environment.
