Ready to take the next step towards HR Business Partner level? Artemis Human Capital is exclusively partnering with a growing business in Greater Belfast to recruit a Junior HR Business Partner. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR Advisor or HR Generalist seeking broader responsibility, closer involvement with managers and the opportunity to develop their business partnering skills.

The role:

  • Providing practical HR advice and support to managers across employee relations, absence and performance management.
  • Managing employee relations cases, with senior HR support on more complex matters.
  • Coaching managers to handle people issues confidently and support effective teams.
  • Supporting performance reviews, probation processes, employee development and career conversations.
  • Coordinating recruitment activity, working with hiring managers and recruitment partners on role requirements, interviews, offers and contracts.
  • Supporting the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding.
  • Maintaining accurate HR records, updating policies and procedures, and supporting employment compliance.
  • Preparing monthly payroll information and using HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing, learning and development, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Coordinating office and facilities requirements alongside the wider HR remit.

About you:

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, Junior People Partner or similar role.
  • Broad generalist HR knowledge and experience advising managers on day-to-day people matters.
  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with an empathetic, practical approach.
  • The confidence to work independently, manage competing priorities and recognise when to seek guidance.
  • Confidence using HR systems and digital tools to improve efficiency.
  • A clear interest in progressing towards HR Business Partner level and taking on broader responsibility.
