Artemis Human Capital are pleased to be partnering with a leading professional services firm as they seek to appoint a Finance & Operations Manager to their growing & dynamic team. This is a newly created role within the firm, and this job will oversee the team's finance, operations, people & governance functions. If successful, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to provide strategic & operational support.
Job Overview
This is a varied position, some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the firm's financial management, reporting, & control processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance & commercial insight.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, & cashflow management to support with strategic decision making & business growth.
- Support the Partners in delivering the firm's strategic objectives through robust analysis & commercial insight.
- Contribute to discussions on resource planning, capacity, profitability & operational effectiveness.
- Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, on-boarding, performance management & employee development.
- Maintain internal policies, controls, & procedures that support organisational resilience & effective risk management.
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess the following:
- Strong financial, commercial, & business acumen with a strong track record in financial reporting & operational effectiveness.
- Finance qualification desirable.
- Commercially minded & people focused.
- Strong communication & organisational skills.
- Previous experience in a finance/operations role is essential, preferably within the professional services sector.
