This is an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming part-qualified accountant or recently qualified Accounting Technician looking to gain broad commercial finance experience within a fast-paced business environment. The role offers strong exposure across accounts administration, ledger management, credit control and month-end support, while also giving the successful candidate the chance to become involved in an exciting finance systems implementation project.

Working as part of a busy finance team, you will support the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations while assisting with reporting deadlines and process improvements across the department. You will gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of finance and play an active role in supporting ongoing systems and operational enhancement projects.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain purchase ledger records and process supplier invoices accurately
- Raise sales invoices and credit notes
- Support customer account management and credit control activities
- Allocate payments and receipts across customer and supplier accounts
- Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers regarding queries
- Assist with month-end finance processes and reporting deadlines
- Support finance systems implementation activities, testing and process improvements
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure strong process controls
- Assist with wider finance administration duties as required
This role will suit someone who is ambitious, detail-focused and keen to continue developing within a commercial finance environment. You will likely have:
- Minimum 2 years experience within accounts administration or finance support
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Experience using accounting, ERP or finance systems
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Accounting Technician qualification (IATI/AAT) or active part-qualified studies
- Experience using finance systems
- Previous exposure to finance systems projects or process improvement work
