A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Partner to join its expanding Intellectual Property team in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IP lawyer to play a key role in a highly regarded practice, advising on complex contentious and non-contentious IP matters for a diverse client base, including multinational corporations, technology companies, and financial institutions.
The Role:
- Advising on a broad range of IP matters, including patents, trademarks, copyright, and trade secrets.
- Handling IP licensing, technology transfer agreements, and commercialisation strategies.
- Leading on IP litigation, enforcement strategies, and brand protection for high-profile clients.
- Advising on cross-border IP transactions, due diligence, and regulatory issues.
- Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the growth of the practice.
About You:
- 7+ years’ PQE gained at a top-tier UK or international firm.
- Strong expertise in contentious and/or non-contentious IP matters, with experience in key industries such as technology, life sciences, or media.
- Proven ability to lead complex transactions and advise on high-value IP disputes.
- Excellent client management skills with a commercial and strategic mindset.
