We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Coleraine for an ambitious Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and is ready to play a key role in driving efficiency, profitability and operational performance.
As the Accountant, you will support the Finance Director, providing critical insights into cost efficiency, production performance and profitability. Additionally, you will work closely with operational teams on site, helping influence strategic decision-making through accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts and annual budgets
- Analysis of production costs, material variances and labour efficiency
- Monitoring KPIs and performance metrics across manufacturing operations
- Development and enhancement of cost control processes
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise output and reduce waste
- Financial modelling to support investment, capacity planning and pricing strategy
- Liaising with production, supply chain and senior management teams
What We’re Looking For
- CIMA/ACA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with ERP/MRP systems
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence operational decisions
- Self-motivated, organised and capable of managing multiple priorities
