This is a pivotal commercial role, working closely with senior operational and commercial stakeholders to drive profitability, influence strategic decisions, and provide high-quality financial insight across the business.
The Role
- Leading commercial finance support across pricing, customer agreements, tenders, and contract reviews.
- Supporting new business opportunities, product launches, and product costing initiatives.
- Reviewing costs, margins, and profitability to support commercial decision-making and customer negotiations.
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across multiple business areas.
- Analysing financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Producing high-quality management information and driving continuous improvements in reporting and financial processes.
The Person
- Experience in commercial finance, FP&A, finance business partnering, or a similar commercially focused finance role.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, margin analysis, and profitability reporting.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Experience working with ERP and financial reporting systems.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge and influence decision-making.
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with a strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
