We are delighted to be partnering with a growing manufacturing business to recruit an Accounts Administrator for their team based in Dundonald. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with finance and accounts experience to join a successful business in a varied role with exposure across purchasing, project costing and financial reporting. You’ll work closely with the Production and Finance teams, supporting the tracking of project costs, purchase orders, supplier invoices and wider financial administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage purchase orders and supplier invoices
- Monitor and track material, labour and subcontractor costs across individual projects
- Maintain accurate project cost records and highlight any variances
- Assist with cost reporting, budgeting and financial analysis
- Support the preparation of interim payment claims and final account reconciliations
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, orders and deliveries
- Support the sourcing and purchasing of materials for production
- Maintain accurate financial and purchasing records using internal systems and ERP software
- Work closely with Production, Project and Finance teams
Who We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within accounts, finance administration or a similar role
- Experience processing invoices and purchase orders
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with cost tracking, project costing or financial reporting would be advantageous
- Strong Excel and IT skills
- Experience using an ERP or accounting system would be beneficial
- Manufacturing, construction or engineering experience would be advantageous
