A well-established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take a lead role within its finance function. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll play a key part in supporting business performance while overseeing a small team. This is a broad and hands-on role, offering the opportunity to combine financial control with commercial input, while contributing to process improvements and operational decision-making. This position would suit someone who enjoys working closely with the detail but also wants to influence how finance supports the wider business.

Key Responsibilities
- Support finance function maintaining strong governance controls
- Produce accurate month-end reporting and financial analysis
- Assist budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning
- Maintain balance sheet integrity including inventory oversight
- Partner leadership providing clear financial business insights
- Develop KPI reporting across profitability and operations
- Support costing variance analysis and cost visibility
- Contribute to process improvements and systems development
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
- Manufacturing or engineering background preferred
- Strong grounding in financial reporting and controls
- Exposure to group reporting structures advantageous
