We are partnering with a growing international organisation to recruit a Commercial Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical finance professional who enjoys working with large datasets, driving business insight, and supporting commercial decision-making across a multi-site operation. Reporting into the central finance function, you will play a key role in developing costing models, analysing financial performance, and providing valuable insight to stakeholders across the business. You will work collaboratively with operational and commercial teams to improve reporting, strengthen financial controls, and support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain accurate product and operational costing information to support business decision-making.
  • Analyse financial and operational performance data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the development of standard costing methodologies and ensure consistency across the wider business.
  • Deliver regular variance, margin, and profitability analysis, providing clear recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Partner with operational, commercial, and finance teams to improve data quality and financial reporting.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in costing processes, reporting tools, and financial controls.
