An established law firm in Bangor is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join its growing residential property department. This role would suit someone with conveyancing experience who enjoys being actively involved in property transactions while supporting solicitors and fee earners with a busy caseload.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the conveyancing team with the progression of residential property matters from initial instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting fee earners with residential conveyancing transactions
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents
- Preparing contract packs and requesting searches
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties
- Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate files
- Assisting with exchange and completion processes
- Supporting post-completion work including Land Registry applications
