Business Development Executive Belfast (Hybrid) Competitive Package Our client, an innovative NI success story, is seeking a driven Business Development Executive to join the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to play a key role in supporting business growth, developing new client relationships and contributing to a high-performing sales function.

Key

Responsibilities: Research and develop targeted prospect lists across relevant sectors and markets.

Generate new business opportunities through structured outbound activity including phone, email and Linked In engagement.

Build relationships with senior decision-makers, operational leaders and key stakeholders.

Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, business objectives and potential solutions.

Qualify leads effectively and ensure strong handovers to the wider sales team.

Manage and maintain accurate CRM records, tracking activity, engagement and pipeline progression.

Support account development strategies and contribute to revenue growth initiatives.

Attend industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings to represent the business professionally.

Work collaboratively with Marketing and Sales teams to maximise lead generation opportunities.

Provide market feedback and insights to support commercial strategy and business development activity.

About

You: 2+ years experience within B2B sales, business development, account management or a commercially focused role.

Proven ability to identify opportunities, build relationships and engage with prospective clients.

Confident communicator with the ability to influence and develop relationships with senior stakeholders.

Commercially aware with a proactive approach to achieving targets and delivering results.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.

Comfortable with outbound prospecting and developing new business opportunities.

Experience using CRM systems and sales intelligence platforms.

Self-motivated, resilient and driven to succeed within a growth-focused environment.

Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
