The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing new business opportunities and growing an existing portfolio of mid-market SME and property customers.
- Structuring complex, high-value lending proposals and maximising portfolio opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with customers, intermediaries and strategic business partners.
- Representing the organisation at networking events and strengthening its profile in the local marketplace.
- Preparing high-quality credit applications and ensuring robust credit, compliance and risk management standards.
- Collaborating with internal teams to support strategic objectives and sustainable business growth.
The Person
- Proven experience in Business Banking, managing complex, high-value SME and property portfolios.
- A strong track record in developing new business and delivering complex lending transactions.
- Excellent credit management, regulatory and operational risk expertise.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities and grow market share.
- Outstanding relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the Northern Ireland business market, supported by an established regional network.
